Thank you for your interest in being part of our team at Camp Frontier - Florida's OverNight Adventure Summer Camp. Camp Frontier is rooted in Judeo-Christian values which are incorporated into all that we do.
We are blessed to have worked with many outstanding staff over more than two decades. The key to a great summer camp is a great staff: We take very seriously the selection of our team. For the right person, being part of a summer camp staff is a very rewarding experience.
All staff at Camp Frontier are committed to providing a fun, safe and life changing experience for our campers. They choose to model integrity, kindness, patience, selflessness, and team spirit. We are dedicated to creating fun-filled, positive memories for fellow staff and campers as each contributes their own personality, talents, abilities, and interests to our camp community.
Counselors and program staff assist or lead activities and supervise campers in their assigned cabins according to camper’s age and birth gender. Cabin have a common area and four bunkrooms each with its own bathroom. Counselors occupy one of the rooms.
Applicants must have completed High School, be at least 18 years of age, and have previous camp experience, college, youth ministry and/or youth related work experience.

Summer Camp Staff Compensation
Staff compensation for the term of service is based upon position and experience. We are pleased to offer a higher than average compensation compared to similar camps.
All meals, lodging, and laundry service are included. Staff must provide their own travel to and from camp. We are happy to provide ground transportation to and from the Orlando International Airport.
Background Check - Camper Safety is #1
If you are selected to be a part of our Staff, an independent agency will be used to perform a complete background check. Drug testing can be administered at any time after arrival to camp and again through out the summer.
2022 STAFF TIME REQUIREMENTS
The total time commitment is from Wednesday, June 1 through Wednesday, Aug 10, 2021.
Note: Staff may be sent reading materials or links requiring between 4 to 6 hours of study prior to arrival.
Pre-Camp Training Week
Wednesday, June 1 through Friday, June 10
Camp Sessions (Two and Three Week Sessions)
Sun, June 12 through Sat, August 6
Post Camp - All staff participate in the cleaning and packing of camp. (Post Camp is a great time for the staff to spend together before departing for home.)
Sunday, Aug 7 through Wednesday, Aug 10
All travel home the evening of Wednesday, Aug 10
